Yellow healthcard

With your residence permit in hand, visit your local citizen service center to fill out a form when arriving in Denmark. Here you'll also be assigned a doctor. You'll then receive your yellow health insurance card in your mail.

Banking, and public mail

Before you can a get a bank account or read mails from the muninicipality, you must have a MitID. MitID is a digital signature and electronic key for everything from banks to digital mail. You won't survive Denmark without it. Visit mitid.dk for more info or get help at your local citizen service center.
